Review + swatches of Tarte’s ‘Rainforest Of The Sea Vol. III’ palette review + swatches!

My lovelies! This gorgeous piece of artwork is what I would like to share with you today. Highlighting eyeshadow palette By Tarte Call it ‘Rainforest of the Sea Vol. III’ ( PS30, Tarte ). This one I found while browsing Tarte. Vegan makeup section: As a big fan of shimmery shadows, I was instantly drawn to its beauty. It was my first experience with Tarte makeup. This review is very special! I’m going to share with you today my honest opinion on this little palette. Hope you enjoy it!

The packaging is absolutely stunning, and I love how it looks the first time you open it. The packaging is beautiful and colorful, but it’s also compact, sturdy, and perfect for traveling. This palette is packed with a variety of colors. Eight neutral shades Total – seven shimmery and one matte to be used as a base. The palette comes with a large mirror, but there is no brush or other application tool. (This is fine for me as I prefer to use my brushes anyway.

These eyeshadows have an interesting consistency – they are powdery when in the pan but have a creamy texture once applied. When applied, they Glide on with ease. It should be applied evenly. The glittery fallout can be quite messy, so I recommend using a slightly wet brush. These shades are beautiful, and I love how multi-dimensional they are. Shimmery: They give a (almost metallic-like) finish.

Tarte: The lighter shades work well as highlighters on other parts of the face. They give you a dramatic glow. The only thing I would say is that some of the shades are too dark to be used as eyeshadows. The result is quite similar. There don’t appear to be many shimmery ones. Contrast: Even the darkest shade appears light on the eyelids. It can be not easy to create elaborate looks because of this. I find that it is easier to wear just one or two colors at a given time.

Rainforest Of The Sea Vol. Rainforest of the Sea Vol. The range includes:

Escape. Nude coloration that is light pink. This is one of the most pigmented colors in the palette. It works well to highlight cheekbones for paler skin tones.

Tiki. This palette contains only one matte shade. It works well as an eyeshadow base or transition.

Heat Wave Soft beige with warm pink undertones. When applied as eyeshadow, it is similar to Escape but not quite as pigmented.

Malibu. Soft, plum bronze shade. It’s my favorite in the palette. It blends well and is actually quite light.

Rays. Copper with a light peach undertone. It is one of the most intense shades and works well as a highlighter.

Compass. Light champagne with warm undertones. It is very similar to the other lighter shades on the palette and does not have as much pigment when blended.

Jewel. The copper shade is bright and warm. This is another favorite in the palette. It’s quite intense and versatile.

Treasure. A sparkling white with warm undertones. It is a very intense metallic color when applied. I use it to highlight my inner corners.

Overall, this palette is a good choice for those who are new to makeup and want something easy to use, compact, and versatile. It’s not for matte formula lovers (there is only one matte color included)! If you prefer a shimmery, sparkling finish, this is the product for you. Rainforest Of The Sea Vol. Rainforest of the Sea Vol. You’ll love them. The only thing I would say is that the colors don’t have much contrast when you apply them (they work best with only two or three shades at a given time). Tarte is also a brand I would recommend. Vegan makeup range There is an amazing selection of cruelty-free, awesome products. It’s not sponsored, although I wish it! ), and Tarte offers a vegan section that I am super excited about!
