How often do You Do It?
Some guys do it every morning. Others do it whenever they have the time. You may be wondering if it’s too much or not enough.
There are many conflicting opinions about how to wash your hair and how often. There’s no need to tear your hair out (even though that would technically fix the problem). The answer is simple.
Less is more. Most dermatologists and hairdressers agree that men should only wash their hair three times per week and not more than twice a day.
You’re likely”Wait, isn’t it dirty not to wash my hair every day?” every day it like not using soap?”
No (although it is important to use soap and grooming daily).
Sebum is the oil your scalp produces to nourish your hair and keep it from drying out. Shampoo strips This oil away, which can weaken and dry your hair follicles. Your body will then go into overdrive, producing more sebum and making your hair oily.
It will help your scalp find its sweet spot and the perfect amount of oil. This will improve curly hair and simplify styling with products, reduce breakage, make hair healthier and shiner, and help with hair loss.
It’s important to know that there are exceptions to every rule. Guys with oily or coarse hair may need more frequent shampooing. It’s up to you to determine what your hair needs.
Rinse your mouth with water
It may seem like an evil plan for those who work out regularly or sweat excessively in the summer months. You’ll discover that exfoliating the scalp with a scrubbing motion and rinsing hair in warm water will do the trick.
This will remove dead skin, dirt, and much of the excess oils but still leave enough oil for your hair’s nourishing benefits to remain healthy. Salt from sweat in your hair will also give it a texture similar to “surfer’s” hair. With a little product, you can have a good hair day.
Think of conditioner separately
We tend to think of shampoo and conditioner as iconic, like Bonnie and Clyde or Holmes and Watson.
Both are necessary for your hair but do not have to be used simultaneously. Conditioners can be used every day, unlike shampoo. It rehydrates and replenishes hair nutrients. Consider conditioning your hair on days when you do not shampoo. This will help remove grime from the hair when you don’t shampoo and rehydrate your hair after a wash.
Knowing your hair type is essential when it comes to conditioning. If you have oily hair, the sebum produced by your scalp will condition it naturally.
You may need to experiment a little to find your best routine. Your hair will be great.
